Our Soul Trail Family

Our Story

Welcome to the Soul Trail Family!

From left to right: Leanne, Ruth, Michael and Melissa.

Leanne, our founder, started Soul Trail during the pandemic whilst working as a mental health lead for the Fire Service. Being in nature made such a difference to her mental health - and created a great way to connect with family outdoors.

Leanne noticed how few people looked like her and her family outdoors, and so Soul Trail was born.

Soul Trail exists to provide a welcoming space for people of colour in nature, weaving mindfulness, creativity and joy into all we do.

Our mission is to ensure that everyone feels they belong outdoors.

Led by the community, for the community
